A Willing Participant Snags 3 Platinum, 5 Gold MarCom Awards

A Willing Participant, Inc., is very pleased to announce the receipt of five Platinum and three Gold MarCom Awards.

Five of the eight awards were received for work on behalf of our client Accelerate Institute. The Chicago-based nonprofit operates a leadership program designed to equip principals and other educational leaders with the skills needed to transform urban schools affected by a failing education system. Since its launch at Alain Locke Charter School on Chicago's West Side in 1999, Accelerate Institute has dispatched leaders to 56 schools around the country.

Our award-winning work for Accelerate Institute consists of short documentaries and profiles centered around the organization's annual Impact dinner. The documentaries showcased the work of school leaders recognized for their outstanding achievements, as well as an overview of the 25-year history of Accelerate Institute.

The remaining three awards included a video project for Filtration Group, an Oak Brook, Illinois-based air filtration company; A digital media project for Florida's Orlando Sentinel news publication; And a print project for the Sun-Sentinel news publication in Broward Country, Florida.

A Willing Participant's winning entries were of about 6,000 digital and print entries in total from marketers from dozens of countries. Awards are given for work in the areas of digital media, print media, audio / video and strategic communications. The MarCom Awards have been organized by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals since 2004.
