AWP Picks Up 'Gold,' 4 'Silvers' from the 2020 Davey Awards
A Willing Participant, Inc. (AWP) is pleased to announce we received a one Gold and four Silver awards at the 2020 Davey Awards.
AWP took home the Gold Davey in the Film/Video-Charitable/Non-Profit for Non-Broadcast category for our production of the short video "2019 Ryan Award Winner: Joán Álvarez." The video highlights Alvarez's work as principal of IDEA McAllen College Prep in McAllen, Texas.
Álvarez was presented with the Ryan Award and a $25,000 honorarium by Chicago-based educational nonprofit organization Accelerate Institute after students at his school near the U.S.-Mexico border posted outstanding academic results.
In addition to the Gold award, AWP won the Silver award for the following projects:
Accelerate Institute: "2019 Ryan Award Winner: Lindsey Robinson" (Film/Video-Charitable/Non-Profit for Non-Broadcast)
Mercer: "Stretch Your Skills" (Business to Business-Direct Mail for Design/Print)

Independence-4-Seniors (Websites-Health & Health Services for Websites)
The 16th Annual Davey Awards received nearly 2,000 submissions from small ad agencies, design firms, public relations shops and other organizations from the United States and worldwide.
Davey Awards submissions are judged by members of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The AIVA claims members from organizations including Spotify, Condé Nast, Disney and Microsoft.
